EP7. Introducing Ampricot: Uniforms that celebrate both personality and professionalism

Hello, this is Amecopain!

Spring is slowly giving way to summer here in Korea, and we’re savoring every moment of this beautiful in-between season.
There’s something magical about the fleeting transitions—like the soft handoff from autumn to winter, or spring to summer. These moments remind us that even subtle shifts can be full of meaning.

And speaking of transitions—this past month, we’ve been quietly going through one of our own.

We’ve been busy. The kind of busy that buries you under paperwork, stretches into evenings, and leaves your calendar in a constant blur. And somewhere between all of that… we almost forgot to write this newsletter 🥹

But we’re back—with stories, updates, and most exciting of all…

Our newest collection: Ampricot
Yes, it’s finally here!

At first, some might wonder: Why does a uniform brand even need seasonal collections?

But to us, it makes perfect sense. Uniforms are still fashion.
And just like any other wardrobe, they can reflect the energy of the season—the colors, the mood, the lightness of summer or the depth of winter.

We spent days photographing our newest pieces in a beautiful resort setting that captures the spirit of summer. We chose every shade, every fit, every frame with care—pouring our hearts into every detail.

Was it hard? Absolutely.
Did we do it anyway? Of course.
Because that’s what we do here at Amecopain.

Some people might wonder:
“It’s just a uniform — what does it have to do with seasons or fashion?”

But to us, uniforms are no different from regular clothing.
We try to incorporate the colors and trends of each season into our pieces.

We held a photoshoot at a beautiful resort, selecting color palettes that feel like summer itself. From choosing the shots to retouching images, every step was filled with love and attention.
Putting so much care into every detail isn't easy — but we did it, again.

We’ve also finally released our high-quality athleisure line, something that truly represents the image we want to build with Amecopain.

Before we even began Amecopain in earnest, we spent almost two years developing this athleisure line.
We sampled fabrics again and again, testing, adjusting, refining.
Comfort often means less support, and good support can feel restrictive — we spent over a year figuring out how to balance the two.

Even after we made the decision to launch uniforms first, we kept developing our athleisure line on the side.

Our dream was simple:
To create the most comfortable clothes for people who move a lot.

Whether it’s at work or at the gym — the location doesn’t really matter.

We imagined someone throwing on a doctor’s coat over leggings and a bra top, rushing through their shift.
Then, during a short break, slipping off the coat and going for a quick run, only to return and jump right back into work.
In some countries, that’s not unusual at all.

Though we wondered whether it was a bit early to show that in Korea just yet, our entire team said,
“This needs to be out in the world — now!”
So, we did.

And May also brought us another big moment —
Amecopain was featured in our first-ever press article!
Seeing “Amecopain” right there in the headline brought real emotions to our team.
Even though it was just a product launch piece, it meant so much to us.

We hope to see more articles sharing our story and steady growth from here on out.

We’ve also been working hard to prepare for upcoming exhibitions and trade shows.
We see these events as precious opportunities — that first meeting with our customers.

And while preparing, we’ve had a lot of fun developing merchandise with our team.

For our very first trade show, we even made collage postcards filled with messages from the Amecopain universe.
Each card features one of five friends from our brand world, all sending out the same message:

“You are the best.”

We hope you’ll stick one on your desk, and whenever you see it, take a moment to say to yourself,
You’re doing great.
It just might change the tone of your whole day.

We loved how they turned out - so we’ll be adding them to our store very soon.

And so, here we are - reflecting on the month of May.
Writing this short “journal” reminded us how even the smallest changes, stacked day by day, can become something big and meaningful.

None of it would be possible without all the hard work and passion from everyone involved.

As we head into summer, we wish all of you a beautiful and happy day.
