EP12. Winter is Coming, and so is Amecopain!
Hello, this is Amecopain!
Autumn lingered unusually long this year, and now suddenly it’s freezing out.
Here at Amecopain, we’ve been busy prepping for winter in our own special way 🙂
After wrapping up one of our biggest events this year, the exhibition, we’re now diving deep into building Amecopain’s very own kind of winter.
# A Very special FW lookbook in the works
Amecopain has always tried to leave an unexpected, memorable mark in the world of uniforms.
And this year’s FW campaign? We're taking it up a notch.
I (yes, the founder) had a bit of a stubborn moment—and decided the whole lookbook should be shot in a hanok (traditional Korean house).
Why? Well, while our uniforms are being sold all over the world, I just couldn’t resist making a proud statement: Amecopain is a Korean brand!
From styling references to mood boards, model casting to makeup and props—we’re working closely with a talented director to bring it all together, leaving nothing to chance.
We know it’s a bit late for the FW season compared to other fashion industries. But hey, when perfection is the goal, the timeline sometimes stretches.
I can’t help but look back at our very first lookbook shoot, for the “Amecoplain” line. We only had three people on set that day. Now? We’ve got a full team of over a dozen on board. That growth hits differently 🙂
Stay tuned shooting starts soon!
#. Business trips turned brand opportunities
I spend more than half the year on business trips, zipping between Asia, the U.S., and Europe.
While running around on packed schedules, I kept thinking what if there was a fun, unusual way to spread the word about Amecopain?
That’s when inspiration struck.
What if I gifted Amecopain uniforms to hotel staff at every place I stayed?
We even embroidered their hotel logos onto the uniforms to make them feel extra special.
It felt a bit bold and maybe even awkward—offering gifts with no strings attached, especially across different cultures. But with barely two days before my flight, our sample team pulled off the impossible and made it happen 👏
So I handed the uniforms over at check-in.
And guess what? It worked.
Hotel staff tried them on, loved the quality, and even asked about placing orders.
I was honestly shocked—and so thrilled.
It reminded me: bold ideas and spontaneous efforts sometimes lead to the most exciting outcomes.
# Amecopain Busan Office: Faster Delivery, Here We Come!
Another big step: we’ve officially set up our Busan branch office and logistics hub!
Until now, our products were manufactured overseas with freshly developed fabrics, and shipped directly.
Great for freshness and quality—but not so great for delivery time.
Now, we’re keeping stock locally in Korea to offer faster shipping for some items!
(Items needing embroidery might take a little longer, but we’re improving things every day.)
We’re hiring, organizing systems, setting up the space—busy, yes, but also super exciting to be laying down stronger roots.
# A New Adventure: Pajamas? Why Not!
Yes, Amecopain is known for premium casual uniforms. But we’ve never been ones to put ourselves in a box.
Thanks to our in-house fabric development and manufacturing, we’re always open to new ideas that support healthy lifestyles.
Here’s how the pajama idea came up:
One of our fabrics for the upcoming 25SS season was being tested—and someone said,
“I slept in it. It was insanely comfy. You should turn this into pajamas!”
It sparked something.
In Korea, most pajamas are made of cotton. But what if we added some functional performance elements? Comfort and utility, in true Amecopain style.
We don’t know exactly where it’ll go but we’re excited to try. So please, look forward to this new journey!
That’s a wrap for now just before the winter chill truly sets in.
We hope you enjoyed catching up with us, and we’d love to hear your stories someday, too.
Wishing you warm, happy days ahead.
We’ll be back soon with more good news and cozy updates.
Enjoy the Best
