EP13. Wrapping up 2024 and Dreaming of 2025!

Hello, this is Amecopain!
Have you welcomed 2025 with warmth and joy?

As we close out 2024, we’ve got lots to reflect on, and even more to look forward to.
Here’s a little year-end recap (and a sneak peek into what’s ahead).

# Lookbook Complete, New Arrivals Out Now!

We finally shot our long-awaited Hanok-themed lookbook!

Trying something no one else has attempted is always a mix of excitement and anxiety.
That rollercoaster of emotions? We ride it often here at Amecopain — and maybe we’re a little addicted to the thrill. Haha.

Looking back, I’ve always loved creating and enjoying new experiences.
But this shoot really had me nervous — I even lost my appetite and had strange dreams in the days leading up to it 😂

The forecast wasn’t promising either. On the morning of the shoot, the sky was gloomy and my heart even gloomier…
But as soon as we got started, the whole team clicked into perfect sync. Despite the clouds, everything came together beautifully and we wrapped up with big smiles.

And the result?
A stunningly colored new collection that’s now officially launched!

It was a tricky concept to pull off, but I’m proud of our bold attempt and I genuinely love how it turned out.
Amecopain will continue to embrace the unexpected and keep pushing boundaries.

#. Pajama Collaboration in the Works?

As mentioned in our last letter, we developed a fabric for SS25 that turned out to be perfect for sleepwear.
We hadn’t set out to make pajamas, but after testing the fabric, everyone kept saying, “You have to make pajamas with this.”

But here’s the thing, Amecopain is a uniform brand, and the pajama world is entirely new territory.

Sure, we could try it on our own. But what if… we collaborated with an actual pajama brand?
So I started reaching out to nearly every local homewear company I could find and happily, a few were intrigued by what we do.

I crammed in meetings with potential partners during a whirlwind business trip (the schedule was basically cut into eight slices a day 😅),
and those conversations were full of inspiration, shared ideas, and mutual curiosity.

We’ll share more soon but let’s just say a fun collaboration might be on the way!

#. Ready-to-Ship: Coming Soon

While we love making clothes, we care deeply about the environment too.
We don’t claim to have the most advanced solutions — but we do want to do what we can.

One of our ongoing efforts is to avoid overproduction.
Since we have our own manufacturing line, it would be easy to mass-produce and stock up. But that leads to waste — unsold garments that become trash. And that’s a reality we want to avoid 🥺

That said, we also understand that Korean customers often expect fast shipping.
Our made-to-order model — where delivery takes two weeks — can feel slow in a world used to next-day arrivals.

So with our new office and local team in Korea, we’re starting to test the waters of the “ppalli-ppalli” culture.

Our first ready-to-ship item? Surgical caps.
A customer requested this after the exhibition, and we’re producing a few popular colors for immediate delivery.

They’re top-notch quality, even earning praise from medical professionals — so if you’ve been eyeing one, stay tuned. They’re on the way soon!

# How did you spend the Holidays?

2024’s year-end may not have been carefree or festive for everyone.
We hope, at the very least, that your heart found warmth — and that you welcomed 2025 gently.

# Looking back on 2024 and forward to 2025

This past year felt like we were laying the groundwork, one step at a time, to help the world discover Amecopain.

We:

• Registered our new legal entity in Korea

• Welcomed new team members

• Participated in our very first trade show

• Met with countless professionals and brands

• Faced endless challenges and overcame them together

Our entire team grew alongside the brand this year.
And in 2025, we’re aiming for even more visibility, more meaningful actions, and more moments with you.
